Highly detailed and carefully hand crafted desktop model of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter.

The wood used is reclaimed.

Made from solid mahogany and complete with solid mahogany matching stand.

Finished in high gloss lacquer to enhance the natural beauty of the mahogany.

Simple to assemble with no glue required, simply slot wooden parts such as rotors into pre drilled holes.

With room for a commemorative plaque (not supplied) onto the stand.

Due to the nature of wood the colour of the model you receive may vary slightly from the website image.

Keep out of direct sunlight and heat.

If dusting use a new fine paint brush.

The AH-64 Apache is possibly the most recognizable military helicopter in the world. It features a nose-mounted sensor suite for target acquisition and night vision systems and is armed with a 30 mm M230 chain gun carried between the main landing gear, under the aircraft's forward fuselage. It has four hard points mounted on stub-wing pylons, typically carrying a mixture of AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 rocket pods. Originally designed and produced by Boeing, It is also produced under licensed by AugustaWestland in the UK. It is now the primary attack helicopter of many nations including the USA, UK, Greece, Japan, Israel, the Netherlands and Singapore. AH-64s have served in in Panama, the Gulf, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. This model has been hand crafted from mahogany has a high gloss finish with matching stand. The model supplied boxed. To assemble, push the rotors into the mounting and the stand and mounting into the pre drilled holes on body of the aircraft. No glue required.
