Simple to assemble with no glue required, simply slot wooden parts such as wings into pre drilled holes.

Constructed almost entirely of wood, "The Wooden Wonder" entered widespread service in 1942 as a high-speed bomber. It was highly versatile fulfilling roles including low to medium-altitude daytime tactical bomber, high-altitude night bomber, pathfinder, day or night fighter, fighter-bomber, intruder, maritime strike aircraft, and fast photo-reconnaissance aircraft.
